ABOUT THE OWNER
Jennifer Bynum Lawson
Jennifer's passion for hair started at a very young age just playing with her dolls. She began to develop her skills by practicing on family members and friends throughout her junior high years. Her family noticed that her talent was undeniable. With the support of her love ones she went on to pursue an education in Cosmetology from Mitchell's Hairstyling Academy. Jennifer has been licensed now with the State of North Carolina since 2004. In following her dreams she founded and established The Halo Salon in 2018.

Her mission with The Halo is to teach women to embrace their God-given hair. Her specialty is growing healthy hair. She is known in her community for having growing hands. She believes that wigs and weaves should be options, not necessities. Jennifer has a reputation that precedes her as a Master Stylist. Her delicate and intentional approach to healthy hair is made evident in the needs of each client, assuring coveted results.
